Terms of Service

The Short Version

What you will read here covers two things: using this website, and engaging us as your mover or storage provider. The numbers that truly matter to your move — what it costs, when it happens, how we stand behind your property — are not settled on this page at all. Those live inside the written estimate and the moving agreement you sign. Read in good faith, and bring any questions to the office before a date is reserved.

Accepting These Terms

Loading this website, or hiring us to move or store your belongings, counts as your acknowledgment that the relationship runs under these Terms of Service. The company referred to throughout as “Alpha,” “we,” “us,” or “our” is Alpha Movers, headquartered at 260 1st Ave S, Suite 200, St. Petersburg, FL 33701, serving St. Petersburg and Pinellas County. If something stated below does not sit right with you, the right step is simply to stop here.

What We Do

Whether the trip spans a few blocks or several states, your belongings travel in equipment we own, handled only by uniformed, vetted movers we employ and pay directly; storage takes place inside our climate-controlled building. Founded in 2012 by Dean Markos, the company operates locally under Florida intrastate authority () and runs interstate loads on its own and — fully licensed, bonded, and insured. Outside firms never take over your move. Anything binding about a particular job — coverage, pricing, conditions — is captured in the written estimate and signed agreement you receive before move day, not on this page.

Quotes and Binding Estimates

Asking for a quote costs nothing. We build the figure from your inventory plus the realities of both addresses, often verified through a walkthrough done in person or from photos, and every job is priced as a single flat rate. Once you sign, that amount is fixed as what you owe; it rises only when you request additional goods or services, or when an address turns out to differ substantially from what you told us. Each quote carries an expiration date noted directly on the document.

Storage

Anything we warehouse sits in the climate-controlled building governed by its own storage agreement — one that spells out duration, the monthly charge, when you may access your goods, and how items go in and come back out. All storage fees, plus any charge tied to intake or retrieval, are documented within that agreement.

Booking a Date, Deposits, and Calling It Off

Holding a specific calendar slot may require a modest refundable deposit, later applied toward your balance. Your moving agreement spells out how that deposit comes back to you and how reschedules or cancellations work. Plans do change; giving us as much notice as possible makes rearranging the schedule far simpler on our end.

Payment

When payment is owed — most often on completion of the move — is set by your agreement, with storage billed per the storage agreement instead. At booking we will tell you exactly which payment methods are accepted. Unpaid balances may be sent to collections, and related expenses can be added.

Liability and Claims

Every piece is pad-wrapped and logged on an inventory before it travels, all backed by a written no-damage guarantee; should an item be damaged, we will repair it, replace it, or pay out as spelled out in your agreement. Cargo protection reaches $1M, with the default valuation pegged at $0.60 per pound. Submitting a claim means delivering it to the office using the channel and inside the window your agreement specifies, and within whatever the law allows. How far our responsibility reaches is shaped by your agreement together with the valuation level you selected and the coverage then in force.

Your Responsibilities

A handful of obligations rest with you: give an honest account of the job, point out anything fragile or high-value, make sure each location can be worked safely and legally — loading docks, building entry, a lawful place to park — and obtain any HOA approvals, building clearances, or certificates of insurance the site requires. Hazardous materials, flammables, and perishables are things we cannot move, and whatever you box up yourself stays your responsibility as to its contents.

Using This Website

Visit this site for legitimate purposes only. Do not disrupt how it runs or poke at areas you are not meant to reach. Everything published here belongs to Alpha Movers, so reproducing or reusing it requires our permission first.

Limitations and Governing Law

We provide this website on an “as is” basis, extending no warranty whatsoever about its contents. Florida law governs this agreement, and unless a statute directs otherwise, the courts of Pinellas County are where any disagreement will be resolved.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms of Service as conditions call for, with every revision becoming effective the moment it is published here.
