Palm Harbor Moves, From the Golf-Course Communities to the Larger Homes off US-19
Palm Harbor is two worlds under one north-county name: the gated golf-course communities like Innisbrook with their guarded entries and HOA rules, and the larger single-family homes spread along US-19 and the wooded streets behind it. I’m Dean Markos, and since 2012 Alpha Movers has worked both with company trucks and our own payroll crew. Gated resort condo or five-bedroom on a wooded lot, you sign one binding flat-rate figure before a hand touches a carton.
Gated communities and HOA move rules
The communities around Innisbrook run guarded gates, posted move-in hours, and often a certificate of insurance for the clubhouse or condo buildings before they’ll clear you in. I confirm the community’s requirements while I quote, file the COI our Florida authority and $1M cargo coverage make straightforward, and schedule inside the posted hours so a fine never lands on your tab. Where a guard needs the crew and vehicle on a list, I get that handled ahead of the date.
Larger homes and the long carry
The single-family homes off US-19 open up – wider rooms, longer garages, deeper driveways set back from wooded streets – so the work is mostly distance covered, which I clock during the estimate. I position the truck where it fits the drive without scarring the lawn, relay on carts where a gate or a long approach keeps the rig back, and run floor protection through the whole path. The garages here run packed, so I plan that load-out as carefully as the house.
One binding total
After the walkthrough the price is flat and binding – no fuel add-on, no long-carry line wedged in later. We carry full Florida authority (FL IM) plus US DOT and MC, our $0.60-per-pound base sits in the paperwork, the crew is ours both ends, and a break on our truck is ours to fix.
