St. Pete Beach Gulf-Front Condos and the Don CeSar’s Block, COIs and All
St. Pete Beach runs the length of Gulf Boulevard – the pink Don CeSar at the south end, tower after tower of Gulf-front condos, and the low-rise beach cottages tucked between them. I’m Dean Markos, and Alpha Movers is on these buildings constantly. The work spans high-rise condos with reserved elevators down to two-story beach houses on a sandy lane. None of these addresses surprise us anymore. We’re Florida-licensed (FL IM) with our own trucks and our own crew, $1M in cargo coverage on the load, and I always start by walking the property before the loading even comes up – every job pinned to a single locked figure committed to paper.
Beach buildings and the certificate they demand
Almost every Gulf Boulevard condo wants a certificate of insurance naming the building before they’ll release the single freight elevator, and many reserve that elevator by the hour. I confirm the building’s exact requirements while I quote, file the COI our Florida authority and $1M coverage make straightforward, and book the elevator window so the crew isn’t idling in the lobby. The beach towers also post strict move hours, so we schedule inside them rather than risk a fine landing on your tab.
Sandy lanes, low cottages, and nothing left bare
The beach cottages off Gulf Boulevard load out down a short sandy path or a tight side lane, and the curb fills with beach traffic, so I read the approach and keep the protected carry short. Either way everything moves covered: pads on each piece inside, foam on the jambs and rail, runners stretched from your door to the tailgate. Two-wheelers, four-wheel dollies, and slide sheets ride along by default for working appliances out of cramped corners.
One figure, plain and in writing
After I’ve studied the property the price lands flat and printed, and it holds even when a reserved elevator window stretches the day. No diesel surcharge, no stray mileage creeping on once the truck’s loaded. Florida authority, our US DOT and MC registration, a crew that’s entirely mine.
